Shilpa Shirodkar made her Bollywood debut in 1989 with Ramesh Sippy’s film Bhrashtachar. After a brief period in the industry, she stepped away from acting in 2000 following her marriage to UK-based banker Aparesh Ranjit. After a 13-year hiatus, Shilpa returned to the screen in 2013 with the Zee TV series Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. Shilpa and Namrata are granddaughters of the esteemed Marathi theatre and television actress Meenakshi Shirodkar. About Namrata Shirodkar

Similar to Shilpa, her sister Namrata Shirodkar was a well-known actress during the 1990s. Crowned Miss India in 1993, Namrata gained fame for her performances in films like Kachche Dhaage, Vaastav: The Reality, Pukar, Astitva, and the cross-cultural film Bride and Prejudice. Namrata left the film industry after marrying Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu.
